VANDYK Development Group (VDG) is the in-house land development operations division of the VANDYK Group of Companies.
The company is involved in the process of acquiring undeveloped land, with a niche eye and expertise in obtaining maximum entitlements and rights to build. The strategy offers high returns on investment for the assets held by the overall group of companies including a value added edge to specialize in the repositioning of real-estate and distressed properties.
VDG is responsible for the investigation, calculation, and analysis of proposed projects. They are responsible directly and indirectly, for the key decisions and strategies in the transformation of land investments.
The VDG teams stays current with ever-changing city, town or county regulations on land development. Our Project Managers work with city planning departments, environmental protection agencies, public works departments and often directly with electric, gas and water utility companies.
A multi-disciplinary array of issues must be handled and negotiated before project lenders will commit to financing. Effective land planning is critical to the success of a development project and VDG project managers are well versed in various land planning strategies.
